Individual Preferred deductible
When you have a point-of-service (POS) plan, covered services are paid at either the Preferred level or the Alternate level depending upon how you seek services. See your Certificate of Coverage for details.
An Individual Preferred Deductible is the amount you pay for Preferred-level services for any one individual on your policy before Preferred plan benefits begin to pay.
- Only certain Preferred-level services covered by your policy apply to the Preferred-level deductible.
- This deductible must be met each plan year.
- Most Priority Health plans pay for preventive care services such as physicals whether you have met your deductible or not.
- The individual Preferred-level deductible does not apply if you are enrolled in a PriorityHSASM plan with a health savings account and you have more than one person on your policy.
